When I go into prayer I don't have my own agenda, my heart is always to pray the will of the Father. Yes I have a prayer list and prayer targets, but I enter in to prayer as a yielded vessel.
The very first thing I do when I come into my prayer room is take communion. It is a daily reminder of my blood covenant and what Jesus did for me at Calvary. It's also a time of reflection to examine my heart and the error of my ways, as well as a time of repentance.
After holy communion, I always anoint myself with oil, which represents the anointing and God's presence upon me. Next I sit in my prayer chair where the glory of God dwells, abides, and rests. Almost immediately there is an utterance out of my belly from Holy Spirit to pray, then there are other times I sit and wait on His direction. Whatever the case may be, I unselfishly yield my spirit to God's Divine Heavenly language as Holy Spirit leads. I pray in the Holy Spirit until my spirit man ascends and I bypass all flesh, rising high above principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world and wickedness in high places.
