When I go into prayer I don't have my own agenda, my heart is always to pray the will of the Father. Yes I have a prayer list and prayer targets, but I enter in to prayer as a yielded vessel.
The very first thing I do when I come into my prayer room is take communion. It is a daily reminder of my blood covenant and what Jesus did for me at Calvary. It's also a time of reflection to examine my heart and the error of my ways, as well as a time of repentance.
After holy communion, I always anoint myself with oil, which represents the anointing and God's presence upon me. Next I sit in my prayer chair where the glory of God dwells, abides, and rests. Almost immediately there is an utterance out of my belly from Holy Spirit to pray, then there are other times I sit and wait on His direction. Whatever the case may be, I unselfishly yield my spirit to God's Divine Heavenly language as Holy Spirit leads. I pray in the Holy Spirit until my spirit man ascends and I bypass all flesh, rising high above principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world and wickedness in high places.
Hello, my name is Adversity! I've been around since the beginning of time. Some people are defeated by me while others overcome me. I'm kind of like a frienemy. I can be your friend or your enemy, it's up to you to decide, but I can't be both. Everybody will have to encounter me at some point in their lives. Sometimes I show up without warning. I'm the type of frienemy that you can't really ignore because I don't just go away on my own. You have to either resist or embrace me.
Today as my husband and I celebrate 21 years of Marriage, I have a question for you Today!! So many times we think of giving when it comes to money, but giving is a “heart” issue. It’s also about giving of yourself to others! But this post is pertaining to MARRIAGE!
QUESTION: Are you “giving” your spouse the very best of you in your marriage? Can you really say that you’re “giving” your ALL in your marriage as unto the Lord? A question that God asked me 2 weeks ago and I must admit, I’ve become lax! I believe this is a question that every married person should ask themselves and here’s why....
Beloved if you are reading this, it is NOT by accident. Maybe you are one of the ones that has been like Joseph in the bottom of the pit, left for dead. Or maybe you feel like you have been cast down and nobody cares. I bet if you are reading this, you are probably fed up with the Church games in the Kingdom of God that's been going on for years. Well let me encourage you Today, God has not forgotten about you my friend!! In my last post I gave a prophetic word that there is about to be a changing of the guards.
This is not the time to be uncovered, nor is this the time to be under the wrong spiritual covering.
There will be a changing of the guards taking place in the Church in this season.
As I entered into prayer yesterday Morning, the Spirit of the Lord began speaking to me concerning the Church. Many people will be surprised at who God is about to announce in this season.
The under dog shall come forth. The David's who has been on the back side of the desert preparing shall be launched. The Joseph's who has been in the bottom of the pit shall rise to the top. The rejected shall be resurrected, restored, realigned, repositioned and raised up.
Surprises From Heaven Have Definitely Been Showing Up In My Life As I Release My Faith!
Those of you who's been following me know that God spoke to me a few weeks ago and said that this would be a season of "SURPRISES FROM HEAVEN" for those who release their faith, beginning this summer.
The word surprise means to astonish; to amaze; to shock; unexpected; unforeseen; to leave open-mouthed. God wants to give you a mouth dropping experience, but you must release your faith for it.
For those of you who don't know, I am in the process of redecorating my entire home. It has been quite a challenge, but yet exciting. During this faith project, there are some things we have had to pay top dollar for and then some things the favor of God has shown up tremendously.
Before I started this faith venture, I orally declared that I would have ALL NEW THINGS AND "EVERYTHING" that my heart desires, from the paint, to the flooring, down to the very decor!
